At first there was chaos... Then appeared Clint Eastwood riding the horse and there was a really cool western sombrero upon his head... He stopped the horse amidst the vast fields of chaos and told Oh my God, they killed Kenny!!! That was the very beginning... But actually DiaDemas music stylically could be classified as eclectism of gothic, alternative rock, industrial metal and other genres. Mister composer Arthur Berzinsh (stage-name: Christian) began his musical activity in 1998 with a project Angels Tears. The first publicly issued single was called In The Circle Of Black Fire - it was been included in metal music compilation Beneath The Gravestone Vol. 1 in 1999. Synths, vocals, programming and additional guitars was played by Christian. Guitars was played by Herman, the guitarist of Neglected Fields, bass was played by Max, ex-bassist of Latvian cult rocknroll band Rebel. In soft-spoken words, the incantations of dark temptation was spelled by Helen J In 2000 for a new single Heresy (Nine Inch Nails cover version) instead of Max, bass was played by Sergey, the bassist of Gust Of Anger and Neglected Fields, but Helen passionately whispered the christian prayers in latin instead of witch spells this time. The single was been included in Latvian metal music compilation Black Friday vol. IV. At rare A.T. live performances the song has got incredible resonance from the public. 2002-2004 was Angels Tears one-man-band period, Christian recorded new singles Funeral For My Baby, Lauskas, Your Light and in period from 2002 2004 was being filmed videos for these singles. There was recorded 3 EP Your Light, Pelni and Lenores Dreams. In the beginning of 2005 an experimental song Zem Sarkanam Debesim was included in the independent music compilation Odekolons. In 2005 Christian decided to rename the project. Diadema recorded an experimental pop-rock single Musu Lamurs (female voice by Zoja Gorbushina) and soon was finished work on new video for this song, that has been shown on Latvian Digital TV Music Channel. After seeking for a proper female voice, Christian found Mora and in 2006 was recorded 3 songs Frozen Sunbeams, Shine, Pestitaja. Shine was been included in Latvian metal music compilation Black Friday vol. 7. Now Diadema is working on LP album Sanctuary. At the moment Diademas line up: Christian vocals, programming, guitars, keys Mora Amaiu vocals.
